Aria is a poet born and raised in Paris. She writes about everything that goes on in her life, from queerness to mental illness, along with love in all of its forms. She started performing here at Spoken Word Paris in January 2023 and has never left since, reading her poetry aloud and even becoming one of the hosts of this event in June last year. She has also been posting some of her poetry on Instagram, @ariapoems, since January 2025. Her debut poetry collection, Every Broken Thing, works as a mirror reflecting her identity: a broken yet whole portrait of a struggling lesbian woman and budding young poet. The book was designed entirely by her, she made the cover drawing herself and hand makes every book in Brussels with the help of her brother. She’s now here to launch her book and present it to you, let’s welcome Aria to the stage!
