Rufo Quintavalle is a poet and an actor. He has taught creative writing at NYU Paris and is the author of a dozen collections of poetry, including Shelf, Weather Derivatives and I Love Paris. He was born in London, studied at Oxford and the University of Iowa and has lived in Paris for the last 20 years. His acting credits include Les Passagers de la nuit (in competition at the Berlin Film Festival in 2022), God Save the Tuche, Victor comme tout le monde and La Bataille de Gaulle. He was guest of honour of the Oulipo in 2015, was part of the team representing Paris at the final of the TransEurope Expression Poetry Slam in 2019 and has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
