Born in Dakar, raised in Pantin, Biba Ndiaye grew up in the hip-hop culture. Dancing /rapping, DJ-ing, he fell in love with English (a girl and the language… eventually) while he was living in NYC and the UK, and so, he naturally comes to mix French and English in his writing. Though music remains his main source of inspiration… until becoming the destination. He’s a member of the very underground music band B.I.M.B.O.  Although he claims not to be a poet, he is, however a co-founder of the circle of poets, The French Crew.  Using matching words like matches to make magic images, he defines himself as “the man who writes on the train and reads on the terrasse“. He’s just released in April 2026 Home Made Poems and Poèmes Faits Maison,  collections of poems written in the last 7 years.
